What should I do if when I log into any instance and people speak, their voices lag so much that I can only indirectly understand what they're saying? This only happens to me, not to anyone else in the instance

When I encounter this problem, it feels like my Internet is unstable or my ping is too high, but this is absolutely not right. I have a stable Internet connection, without any lags or other problems. Ping is also normal, 60-70 feels like a stable ping for me (it doesn’t happen lower). The websites are loading with a stable speed (including the VRChat website). This problem appears only in VRChat, and it’s been like this for two days in a row (yesterday and today).

Before that, it was only sometimes, I’ve already cleaned the cache, reinstalled the game two times, cleaned the texture cache, cleaned the cache of avatar data and tried logging into the game with a proxy - nothing has changed! By the way, if I tried to log in with a proxy, I might get a popup window appearing once or twice in a row, that says that my connection to VRChat is not responding. Although I repeat that my Internet connection is stable, and there are no problems with the provider, it rarely happens that my Internet is not working well or does not work at all.

Please help me with this as soon as possible. I just want to play the game comfortably.

See if you have any programs running that are for your network connection which try to “Optimize your internet”.

Some of Intel’s products come with a software called “Killer Performance Suite” which tries to give priority to data it thinks is more important, but this system often has flaws that can cause issues like this. Disabling optimizations in that software and disabling the program itself can help.

There’s some programs from other companies that try to do the same but I can’t remember their names, I’d say just take a glance at all the running programs in your system Tray at the bottom right (click the ^ up arrow to expand and see all, and close everything you non-essential.)

Check Processes tab in Task Manager as well to see if there’s any non-System programs running that don’t look like they’re needed.

You’ve played many other games with voice chat in them and haven’t experience that?
What is your internet bandwidth btw? Can you google “internet speed test” and share the upload and download speed?
