Gestures are on but hands are stiff! Help!

So i re-textured an avatar and got it to finally upload to be quest 2 compatible. Everything works find except for one thing. THE HANDS!
gestures are toggled on but are stiff and wont move with my movements. The controllers work as is but the hands just aren’t moving

What can i do to fix this?

maybe you have an issue with the model’s armature ?

How do I check that? I’m fairly new to avatar making and I’ve been trying everything to fix it

I also have that issue. I got the davali model and I was able to add a few things that activate through gestures. Even though the assets work, the avatars hands remain stiff. The hands also don’t have an idle animation.

I have also checked the armature and it looks fine.

I am having the same issue. The gesture controller is fine, as it is Stellr’s ASL hands that I have used on other avatars. The gestures even work in unity with gesture manager. But in game, claw hands. The Debug menu shows hands are tracking, the animator states show the gestures being triggered and the states changing (rock and roll, victory, etc) and yet the hands are still claws. I’ve had this issue two other times on different avatars with different gesture controllers and I never can figure out why. The animations all work in unity fine but in game, its just these stupid claw hands. If anyone has a fix I would be very grateful.

Make sure there are no masks for hands in your FX layer, there will be a little “M” on the right side of a layer with a mask
