I’m making a melusine OC avatar and I’m having several issues (Bear in mind I rigged the thing myself, brand new to rigging and to avatar making in general) Weird views and contorted arms in VR, and a strange idle pose when using gesture manager, an image of my skeleton as well as all issues above is here.
Thanks,
Mori
I’m unsure of what could go wrong so far, but most likely is the rig not assigned to the unity humanoid armature.
The gesture manager post is normal BTW, you can put it back in t pose in the state sub menu
My rig association in unity is not the issue
And my issue is not with the gesture manager (I’m not an idiot, I know how to stop the game) it’s with how it looks in the gesture manager and in how it looks in game (my viewport is messed up despite being in front of my face), The image of how this looks is in my initial post.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Im not sure I perfectly understand what is on the picture, but if it is that your arms gets completely destroyed, then maybe armature bone dependency. I’m don’t know what can break it like that. I let that to more expert people.
The in-game picture is essentially the viewport inside of the neck and the arms contorted inside of the model, the gesture menu one is the arms clipping into the model, super sorry about that, really should have specified.
One out of two issues was fixed based on trial and error! I found this reddit thread and comment and it worked like a charm (plus a few skeleton tweaks, I still can’t for the life of me figure out what’s wrong with the view port, here’s a better image of the issue
This image shows the viewport in the back of the neck for some reason even though it is in the middle of the eyes outside of the head.
(Edit: Added image)
Thanks,
