When i try to launch vrchat, it stops on the “waiting for game” screen. After that whole pc is frozen with the message that Microsoft Windows is not responding. Only way to turn off my pc is to unplug it. Does anyone have experience with something like that?
evetything else on my pc works just fine, it’s only vrchat(and only with EAC, if i try to launch vrchat.exe - it works)
but vrchat worked perfectly before!
haven’t launched it in a while tho
I also have this problem, although my friends are fine, I tried everything, nothing helps, if there is help here, then just spam support about the problem, if they notice, then let them post here, since nothing helped.
I’ve been experiencing VRChat-related freezes and reboots lately. If you all go to the start menu, type “event viewer” and click or press enter, then browse to Windows Logs > System and look for entries marked “critical” and “error” exactly at the time of the crash, do you get anything useful? There will be a Kernel-Power entry at boot telling you you didn’t shut down cleanly, which you already knew, but you’re looking for other errors that might be related.
I closed Kaspersky, but the problem returned after 2 days, how can I tell you, a window appeared with some GLOBAL error and I was even so surprised, I think we need to look into this problem again… we still don’t know what we’ve encountered…
