Given it everything I got.
Followed a few guides, reset and updated drivers. Even did a full scan for corrupted files.
I’ve seen others with similar unity bug messages, but I figure this specific one might mean something more to ya’ll (then it does to me).
Thanks for your time.

Nvidia Geforce RTX 4060 Laptop gpu
Went through the whole article, no dice. I still have the same unity error on startup. I did grab the output logs, no crash logs however.
I also can’t figure out how to attach a zip file to this topic
Coming back here, I figured out the crash seems to be involved with me having two gpus. I have an intel one that runs my monitor and an nvidia for gaming. If I disable the intel gpu, the game runs with a very low framerate. For now I can get away with running it only on the intel gpu, but I wish vrc had a way to run with two gpus… :/
Hey bud, was having the same issues and spent the night troubleshooting n sh*+ and remembered coming across yours during. I started having these issues after an airline was particularly tough with my luggage that had my tech in it so i had to go and get a new ssd and basically reset up my new pc installing windows n drivers n all that. BUT before the plane shenanigans it ran vrchat just fine with it’s dual intel gpus (arc a770M & iris Xe) so i kept looking for a fix until i found this page:
I had ended up;
- doing the PC Automated Method,
- skip to final steps
- verifying files under the steam vrc properties when you right click it in your library
- update drivers
- reset avatar
ended up doing the drivers download first before checking just doing the avatar reset because i wasn’t even really sure if i put em all back to exactly how they were before the accident even though other steam vr games were running fine, plus it was the one i knew would take longer so i figured i’d get it outta the way and when i restarted my computer after the updates i reset the avi on my phone before i connected to my computer with virtual desktop and it finally opened without the crash error.
hopefully this also helps you with your computer even though we got different gpus. godspeed duderoo
