Creator companion opens to blank screen

i need help. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling creator companion. its like the url is blocked inside the app. when i open the app it just opens to a blank white screen or a microsoft edge blank tab sorry we cant load this page,with a refresh button.

now i tried going to hidden local app data folder in user folder, deleting VRChatCreatorCompanion folder, (i backed it up first before deleting) and it still loads to a blank screen. Please help! i’m trying to use the launcher to launch special instanced commands on my vr chat! what gives? is creator companion broken at this time?

I have also encountered this issue, and I personally suspect that it is a problem with the Windows 11 25H2 update. After updating the October cumulative security updates KB5066835 and KB5066128 for Windows 11 25H2, I also encountered issues with VCC opening blank and pop-up browser errors.

I’m also having a similar issue. I either get a white screen or it looks like this. Tried re-installing it entirely after deleting all the VRC CC files in appdata and in program files. Nothing works.

I’m also having this issue. I stupidly decided to update my computer after doing an avatar upload. Apparently there was an issue so i turned it back on to redo it but now VCC won’t show any of my projects, it’s just blank. I also get that cloud error after a while.

Hi all! I actually ran into the exact same issue today, I was able to fix this by rolling back the latest Windows 11 Update. You can do this by going to Settings / Windows Update / Update History and then scrolling down to “Uninstall Updates” You will need to turn off “automatic updates” beforehand, I was able to get the white screen to go away after uninstalling it and restarting my pc !

yeah I was gonna upload and avatar and i just got a blank screen, but my partner could get it open on their side.

I did a test it IS in fact the new Windows 11 Security update causing the issue. You can uninstall that update and restart but do with that what you will. Hope this helps <3

The only way to get your VRC Creator Companion working is by uninstalling the update as I just did it now and I can finally use my Creator Companion, so it’s got something to do with Windows 11’s new update being all buggy

So I did uninstall my last Windows update but it just beings me immediately to the white screen or cloud saying it’s not working. My best guess is that vrchat is working on it and shut the whole thing down completely to fix it
