When ever i load up Creator Companion, it loads with the message, “localhost refused to connect”. I read that it could be caused by the new windows security update but this happened before i updated, so I’m not sure what would cause this?
Why did you make another thread about this? These forums are slow enough that the two latest forum threads are YOU ![]()
Also, what happens if you ask a web browser to go to `http://localhost:5476/\` like specifically when you have Creator Companion window open, at that error.
I thought I accidently deleted the first one lol. I have not tried whatever that means.
Oh the error in your picture is because the web browser component of Creator Companion can’t talk to the other parts of Creator Companion. This was an error with windows 11 a month or so ago.
Just odd to see it this error showing up with a few people now.
I’m getting the same error I’ve been getting the error for the past week. I can’t make any new projects or update old ones, but I can open old ones through Unity Hub at least. How do I fix or work around and still be able to make new projects
Old thread might help. You could give ALCOM a go, at the very least it should use a different web thingy other than the Edge Webview
