Now, I’m developing a Experiment enviroment by making a VRC world, And I try to make a space based on the same size of the real space. However,I found it doesn’t match correctly when I try to walk 1m in VRC strightly hearing the HMD, Cuz I measured 1.2m in the real world.
So, I think the FOV effect the experiment result.
Maybe I can’t change or Monitoring the rendering FOV of VRC ?
VRChat has two separate systems for scaling. I think your best bet would be to put a cube into a world that is 1 unity unit on each side, and then scale your avatar size to make that 1 meter/unity unit wide IRL.
I haven’t actually done this yet, what I have done is measured my eye level and just use that as the height for avatar scaling. Seems mostly fine.
Thanks for comment. I will try your method. By the way I found that there is a parameter called “real user hight” also we have function to change the avatar’s height by use controller to call a roulette menu. Both can change the eye level when enter a world. So, Im trying to figure out how to set those parameter to ensure that I can use the avatar which is the same height of mine.
