So I’m relatively new to VRChat, and I finally decided to just buy a model off of Booth and some outfits. I got the base Yoll model uploaded fine, and I got one of the outfits to work, but I’m having trouble with this one: もぉ～むす水着【龍のヨル専用】 - リュウノシトネ - BOOTH
Here are the errors I’m getting:
Any idea what to do about this?
In the hierarchy find or search for the object named “CowCloth”
then in the inspector scroll until you find a missing script that should look something like this
click the three dots in the top right then remove component
do that for every missing script on the object
did you install “Modular Avatar”? it is mentioned in the description of the asset and can be installed very easily with the VRChat Creator Companion using the “Download (using VCC)” button.
So it turns out the issue was that I didn’t understand that I needed to specifically check to download Modular Avatar for each project (it’s my first time using any tool like Unity). It works fine now that I know to do that. Hopefully this resolution will help the next person who googles for this issue.
