So I think about a week ago, I noticed that when I load into worlds, the loading takes up my entire bandwidth (75Mbps) – but then slows down and transfers 5-10Mbps until it’s done.
As worlds are upwards of 100Mb, the download will slow down to a point where it takes seconds for a single MB to download, and it makes loading worlds take minutes where it used to take seconds.
I’ve attempted to Preload a world before loading, but I experience the same issue.
If I’m in a world, the game runs perfectly fine – it’s only when it’s loading worlds that the download slows down.
I’ve run speedtests, and I’ve tested with other systems to ensure my network card is able to hold a consistent speed near max.
I’m also on the East coast, if this helps try to pinpoint a caching issue.
