OpenVR FSR Support

A little while ago, I wanna say pre-EAC patch, there was a lovely mod that allowed the playerbase to use AMD’s FSR features with the game. And honestly… looking at how large some models get nowadays, as well as people wanting to play the game on lower end hardware/budget systems, I don’t see why we can’t possibly add this into the game.

The developer was also trying to do it via Nvidia’s Image Scaling methods too, which is pretty cool. But I dunno, as much as I would love to see this become a reality for optimization (cause we all love healthy frames in the game), I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t possible due to some coding issue or visual issue.

Thanks again, and I can’t wait to see what the future brings

The mod I was referring to: GitHub - fholger/vrperfkit: VR Performance Toolkit

Okay, appreciate it <3

Might be worth looking into again especially with regards to FSR 3.1 which has improved issues in regards to transparency and missing motion vectors, but it’s understandable to not look into it at this current time.

hello my friends. I was wondering if there is any update on implementing FSR ? there are loads of people like my self that are struggling to get above 50 FPS with 10 avatars showing. it would be nice to use the support of FSR. if its time and money that is a problem i think people will help vrchat out to help support this platform. i know about the 2 year old post about it being hard to implement in to vrchat. but can we have a update on the new FSR.
