ReShade in 2025?

Hi guys!

I’ve been using this third party software called “ReShade” for a while now (basically is a third party post processing software that allows me to do custom on screen effects for client side only) & I was wondering if it’d be possible to use in the world of VRC in 2025.

Would allow me to add my own personal tweaks which would help massively in Photography/Cinematography when it comes to making content in the space.

I know it’s been EAC approved in other games (Dead By Daylight being a very notable one), so it made me question if it was possible to use on VRChat.

From what ive read, ReShade is allowed through EAC

I want to use this to take photos. My problem is that the image I capture is the original, but my eyes see a rendered version. Do you know why?

I don’t want to just use screenshots; that would limit my photography skills.
