New Years 2023: The VRChat Entertainment Network

Unfortunately, we don’t plan on providing an archive or VOD for public viewing.

However, nothing would stop an individual from grabbing the VRCDN stream URL from the output log when you join the world and then recording the stream themselves.

Is the review sheet still being updated, or has the review process moved behind-the-scenes?

We don’t typically work on weekends! :stuck_out_tongue:

Review is continuing at a normal pace.

About 90% of the content submitted as final has been reviewed.

Thank you for your submissions! As of today, 100% of all final submissions have been reviewed.

72% of the submissions were approved, and 28% were declined.

Most of the reasons for declines were low video quality, low resolution, audio issues, and other technical problems. Some submissions were declined due to not being considered “PG”-level content. A few were not approved due to content not matching the theme or other content-related reasons.

Even if your submission bounced for some reason, thank you for your contribution! We’re sorry that this was so one-directional. Logistics is hard!

We’ll be editing all of these together soon! Thank you again!

Will the stream start in time for the UTC+14 celebration, or just after? I saw an image on Twitter that mentions the stream starts 10:00am UTC January 31st…

Hopefully it’s a bit before 10am, and on December 31st

The stream will start at/around 00:00 UTC+14, but not a significant amount of time beforehand.

I managed to get a rough schedule together!

I can’t tell you precisely when your video will play, but I can tell you when each “block” starts, and I can tell you in which order the videos are played.

A few notes before you click on the link below.

Some videos were split into multiple smaller videos. They’ll be shown multiple times in the lineup.

Some videos could not be included for technical reasons, like corrupted uploads or format issues. Please read the technical guidelines closely!

Finally, we’re airing community videos in four blocks of time, between the music stages.

Block Length (Hrs) Block Start (UTC) Block End Name
1 4 12/31/2022 10:00:00 12/31/2022 14:00:00 Before Japan Stage
2 4 12/31/2022 18:00:00 12/31/2022 22:00:00 Before EU Stage
3 2 1/1/2023 1:00:00 1/1/2023 3:00:00 Before Americas Stage
4 3 1/1/2023 9:00:00 1/1/2023 12:00:00 After Americas Stage

You can use this to guess when your video will be airing. For example, if your video is in the middle of Block 1, you should expect to see it air around (but not precisely at) 12:00 UTC.

We announced our DJ lineup for each stage a few days ago.

With all that in mind:

Check out the schedule here! I’ll answer whatever I can if you have questions.

Yees, thank you! For making this and having my video in there.

What would be the average length of videos?

Number of videos in my block (2): 76
4 h = 240 min.
? x 76 = 240 (240/76=3.157894736842105, 3.16x76=240) ? = 3.16

So average would be 3.16 min. My video is number 61.
3.16x60=189.6 (ca 3.10 h)
18+3=21

So my video will be on sometime after UTC 21:00 (22 Swedish time), which makes sense since it’s at the end of block 2.

image

Probably can’t edit a tweet

I submitted a video but didn’t receive any kind of rejection/resubmission/approval email, and don’t see it on the schedule. Did something go wrong?

@tupper posted the final schedule here!

(I don’t think your video made the cut, sorry!)

Check his earlier response for more info:

To add to Fax’s response, as we noted in this thread previously, we were unable to provide approval/rejection responses and reasons to submitters. There were a lot of videos.

Apologies!

The stream is now live!!

¿Hay otro lugar para verlo que no sea el mapa vrchat? como twitch, youtube, etc… tengo un problema de compatibilidad con vrcdn y por lo tanto no puedo ver nada

I don’t see a stream in vrcnye. Where can I find a stream?

As noted previously in this thread, the video is only being streamed in the VRChat New Years world. It’s being streamed via VRCDN, so if you have issues resolving VRCDN URLs, you might have problems with the stream.

We weren’t going to have a stream available outside the world, but thanks to some extra work from VRCDN, they’ve provided this URL which you should be able to use to view the video in your browser:
