Hello! i was posting to see if anyone has something similar to me. I cant use my steam VR windows tab without it unmuting me in VRCHAT. I will mute in vrchat and evertime i hit the start button to view my windows and click on something like spotify, hitting the start button unmutes/mutes my game(it switches it from how ever i left it), the only thing that keeps my mic button muted/on is when i use the ALWAYS on/off feature for mic in VRCHAT otherwise when i play music and hit the start button it acts like another mute button, how do i stop this? ive looked at my vrchat keybinds and the sstart button isnt there, ive tried looking into OVR but it saying theres no keybind for a mute button on my valve index kuncle controllers. ive had VR for years, and this started happening after i reset my computer. Theres a keybind somewhere telling my nuckle controllers to mute VRChat when i press the start button, The only programs i have open are VRchat, Steam Vr, and OVR. what could be causing the mute/unmute? The weridest part is the system/start button on the knucles dont mute me the first few times i push it, it works normally as i want everything then it just starts muting/unmuting while in vrchat, am stumpped.
Maybe you have a binding option that presses a button associated to the mute feature ? Maybe a key on the keyboard that is faulty and it randomly presses on it

To be honest that’s quite odd, no real idea what could cause that.
