Ever since I updated from the 2019 version of Unity to the 2022 versions (so, a pretty long time) every avatar I’ve uploaded has the same issue of not showing other people any expressions of that avatar. I only really play with friends to mess around with stuff I’ve made, so it isn’t a security settings issue, and it doesn’t matter if I’m wearing the avatar or a friend is. It’s been the same for every single 2022 version avatar, and for four different people, both to me and each other.
The last avatar I uploaded with 2019.4.31f1 works perfectly fine, then everything with 2022.3.6f1 and 2022.3.22f1 doesn’t. When I last updated my Unity version, I also double checked my SDK and made the project through the Creator Companion (I usually set things up from Unity hub) hoping that it was simply a version issue I’d missed, but apparently not.
I don’t even know where to begin with troubleshooting this- nothing is throwing errors or warnings in console, the SDK tells me nothing, I don’t have any moderation issues against my account, and I haven’t seen any other instance of the same problem in my (very brief) research efforts.
(I also have screenshots showing this off with 3 different avatars but my images won’t upload right now so I might try later if it lets me)
The tech support forum of a Discord community was no help to me so I’m hoping someone here will at the very least acknowledge this.
