[Linux] Is OpenComposite bannable?

Hi,

I’ve been exploring OpenComposite and its ability to allow OpenXR-compatible headsets to run SteamVR games.

This is a huge deal on Linux, as SteamVR is very unstable.

However, I’m concerned about whether this might violate VRChat’s TOS, since the way OpenComposite works could be considered client modifications. It does not work on Windows because of EasyAntiCheat.

EAC probably can’t even detect it on linux. Does it even modify the client in any way? Doesn’t it just replace an environment variable so it can be used instead of SteamVR? I use it because there’s no alternative atm but I can still totally see myself randomly getting banned.
