My vr setup is super jank with a modded rift S and for some reason VRChat would always overload my refresh rate and cause my pc’s bandwidth to overload as a result. to fix this I created a mod that would limit the refresh rate but now in the new update I’m BANED for it AND the game crashes all the time. what am I supposed to do?
I don’t quite understand. do you want to lower the refresh rate because your headset can’t handle the load? could you try the steam launch options? --fps=45 or something

Our latest update doesn’t ban users for having modifications installed, so you aren’t banned.
Please try limiting your FPS via the --fps=X launch option. OpenVR might have a way to limit FPS as well, if so you’d be able to access that hook via OpenVR Advanced Settings.
