Introducing: The Virtual Vogue Awards
Hello everyone, my name is Sol (also known as SolVR). I’m the founder of Desire Entertainment — a long-standing VRChat community known for immersive social experiences and themed events. I also run a podcast on Instagram that highlights and interviews 18+ VRChat content creators from all corners of the platform.
Myself and a few other creators are planning something new, and we’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
We’re developing a fashion-forward, red carpet-style award show called The Virtual Vogue Awards — an event dedicated to celebrating avatar fashion, personal styling, and digital creativity within VRChat.
The concept:
Recognize and award excellence in avatar design and fashion coordination.
Feature nominations and voting through Discord and social platforms.
Highlight the individuality and self-expression that make VRChat a vibrant digital universe.
This would be a formal, community-driven experience that showcases the creators who contribute so much to the VRChat world — avatar artists, stylists, photographers, world designers, performers, and more.
We’re considering reaching out to the VRChat team for visibility and possible support — but before we do:
