this is a weird one, but before i turn people’s avatars on, i see the quest diamonds instead of robot dummy’s. how do i fix this? i’ve tried to mess with the culling settings and nothing works. is it because i started as quest pcvr?

Ive been having this for months and it really annoying. I have other friends with desktop vr and they dont have the diamond avatars, so I thought it had to do with my shield but it wasnt that. Sometimes i would use my quest 2 and I still see the diamonds so maybe it has to do with my account? Maybe its a new update?? No clue.
Are these actually special quest diamonds?
I’ve only seen the regular diamonds on pc and quest. There are options in the menu to control what avatars you see, like the nearest 5 avatars. It’s possible to set the number and distance to zero. I know on PC the game set the avatar culling to only show the nearest zero avatars. And right below that, there is option to always show friends.
