Hi everyone,
The latest update came with Steam Skeletal Input integration instead of the old in-house finger curling, and even on my quest 2 controllers the fingers look way more natural and interactive.
The problem is I can only enable this when I disable gestures, as below:
With gestures enabled, the fingers are back to the old robotic fingers:
- I’ve tried deleting the gesture layer from the VRC Avatar Descriptor to allow it to fallback to the VRC base but it still doesn’t work.
- Some comments also mentioned Muscles & Settings within the Configure Avatar screen to see how far the bones stretch with the hand splaying/finger stretching sliders, but when in there it does seem like the motion should support it and work. What exactly do we have to do at the Configure Avatar > Muscles & Settings screen?
