so im having a bit of an issue with people using gogo loco to cheat in games. i was playing a new game that involves 1v30 combat and someone in my instance started flying with gogo loco so i couldnt do anything to them because their team was losing. ive encountered people like this many times who use gogo loco to fly and cheat at games and its making them less fun.
Granted I don’t make worlds, wouldn’t a collider a moderate distance above the player’s heads reduce flying in the air?
In Gigas, that would cause issues when the players fly up, but a simple toggle for when the player hits the jump pad would help, even if it’s local to the player only.
Running fast, related to flying, could be identified by distance and time, if the player is found moving too far too quickly, say moving from arena-spawn to a turret (and accounting for the player speed slider at round setup/lobby), or arena-spawn to a jump pad, would force the player back to the arena’s spawn with a warning. Three strikes, they are sent to spectator, or even sent to a penalty box, repeat again and start racking up a debuff.
i mean that could work, ive had the flying thing happen multiple more times to me in gigas and its really starting to get on my nerves. i know i cant do anything about the whole gogo loco flying thing, but maybe gigas should have what other games like murder 4 have where flying doesnt move your hitbox from the ground so you can still be hit even while flying?
