VRchat has been having an issue recently where the middle of my view would go black and freeze, and once it recovered, moving my head around would cause a sort of jitterey or buggy effect. However this does also happen to the Oculus PCVR menu once i exit VRC, Is this an issue with my computer itdelf or can it be traced back to VRC?
You should check and see what is working very hard when it stutters. CPU, GPU, SSD
Worlds with movable objects such as avatar and plates make CPU work hard and world with lots of geometry can make GPU work very hard.
SSD shouldn’t be causing too too bad of stutters, short is probably avatar loading, which would be CPU…
After you’ve close VRChat everything should be fine, unless maybe something was thermal throttling badly?
