EAC is causing the GSoD/BSoD on my new PC

Hi there,

I recently got a new ASUS TUF GAMING B860M-PLUS WIFI motherboard with Intel Core Ultra 9 285K along with 128GB of RAM running at 5600mHz while using my 512GB SSD that came out of my old laptop.

I got all the new drivers installed and uninstalled all the old ones from the laptop I had. Updated Windows 11 and my BIOS/UEFI to the latest version. And it seems that EasyAntiCheat is causing the entire OS to crash even though I’ve updated everything and reinstalled the game from Steam as well.

It seems to only happen specifically with this EOC version of EasyAntiCheat and other games don’t cause any problems. The game itself works in offline testing mode if I directly launch VRChat.exe by itself as it should but if I were to use Launch.exe which starts EAC the crash will happen after it says Initializating.

You seem to be running on Windows 11 Insiders (Instead of a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), you have a GSOD (Green Screen of Death)). The green is an indicator of insiders, the version of EAC that VRChat is running may not yet be compatible with that Insider’s version of Windows (Hence it being an insiders version)
