Community Meetup - Every Sunday

Come join us on the weekly Community Meetup event in VRChat every Sunday!

Every week we gather up and go through worlds that people are working on or need to test.
This is a good way for creators to get feedback on their worlds and for people to ask them questions, or simply get to know them!

During the event time, we can get as many as 60 to 80 people joining us in exploring and visiting these worlds! There are also several people that take part in this event that streams it, for those that can’t take part in it.

We also do Open Beta tests when they are active, but this is done by voting so that the community can decide if we are going on Live or Beta branch. Only exception where we do not vote is when there is a major release. You can read more about this further down.

Open Beta
You can only switch to the Open Beta branch using Steam.

How to switch to Beta branch

To switch to the Open Beta branch you need to do the following:

  • Right click on VRChat in your Steam library
  • Select Properties
  • Go to the BETAS tab
  • Select open-beta from the dropdown list

To switch back, just go to the same tab and select NONE - Opt out of all beta programs

Getting VRChat Output Logs

When doing Open Beta, there might be a time where something happens and it has to be reported to the VRChat Dev team. To get the output logs for this, do the following

  • Press the Windows Key + R (Start -> Run)
  • Enter the following: %userprofile%\appdata\locallow\vrchat\vrchat
  • Press the Enter Key
  • You will now see text files with a name like this output_log_6-46-15_AM

You can then post this on the VRChat Events discord in the Community Meetup channel.
