I noticed we already have Croatian (Hrvatski) as a bio language option, which is great! As many of you know, Serbian and Croatian are pretty close, kind of like US and British English. But there’s a key difference: Serbian uses the Cyrillic alphabet, while Croatian sticks with Latin.
This might seem like a minor detail, but for a lot of Serbs, it’s a big deal. Sure, most can understand Latin just fine, but seeing their bio in Cyrillic makes it instantly recognizable and welcoming to other Serbian speakers.
For those concerned about redundancy, perhaps the platform could allow users to choose between Serbian and Croatian depending on their preferred script.
