Hi, I’m new to uploading avatars, but there’s one that looks fine in Unity—no errors at all—but when I use it in VRChat, it shows a pink error. I switched everything to shaders compatible with the Quest version, and it’s still pink. My PC version is working fine, but only the Quest has these issues.
maybe put the avatar into play mode in unity, then go to the scene and see what material is being used by the object that goes pink. it might not go pink in the editor, so have a reference photo handy. eell if its the entire face then like i guess you wont get lost
I’ve already checked it, and it shows up in pink in the editor. For example, there are 4 materials in the body, but only 2 of them appear in play mode.
If it’s pink in the editor that makes things way easier, you can look at the mesh, and look at the materials attached to that mesh, and see what is pink, and look and see what is going on with the pink materials
