I just connected my quest 2 to my laptop (specs in title) using wired quest link and it was super laggy. I was only getting about 10-15fps with all my graphics settings dropped all the way down and no avatars on. this kind of confuses me because my quest stand alone can run the game at about 25fps with half decent graphics and avatars on. According to a few people my laptop should be able to run the game so am i doing something wrong?
Gtx1080 launched round the same time as the Oculus rift.
The body of your post mentions a laptop, mobile gpus don’t have the same cooling as desktop components.
But then you’re mentioning a 6700k? That is the exact opposite of something that would work well in a laptop.
