Howdy.
Been having an issue lately that just seems to have come out of the blue, and I’m about to rip my hair out trying to solve it. This feels like it just recently started within the last week.
Basically, VRC feels like it’s just crashing at random. My Quest2 will freeze up, then crash me back to the ‘loft’ saying that it’s lost connection. But I lift my headset and my desktop still has VRC running just fine. I’ve tried air link, and I’ve tried direct connection cable. I’ve tried the VRC on the apps, and I’ve tried SteamVR. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for what’s causing it, I’ve googled it non-stop and trying various ‘fixes’ to no avail.
I have had moments where it goes for a couple hours just fine, and some times where just 5 minutes in a world crashes. I’ve crashed just being solo in a world browsing through avatars / worlds. I changed avatars, to no avail. I’ve tried editing power options, different USB ports between 2.0 and 3.0. Still nothing seems to make it better.
Before, I could load into anything just fine with zero issues. Last time I had a lengthy session without crashing, my headset ended up dying because of the battery (didn’t give me a pop-up notification or anything, just let me keep going up until 0% and pbbt.) Literally the game was borderline smooth and perfect before, this is very much a ‘recent’ problem.
I’ll post the recent output_log that came from my last attempt, hopefully something in it will help pinpoint the problem. Otherwise, well I’m just at a loss sincerely, aha. If anyone has any suggestions or anything I can try, or if they need more info, please let me know. Thank you again.
