A few months ago I had an interaction with a user that made me distance myself from the platform pretty much entirely.
I was in a world just listening to music when a user walks up to the side of me and says hey “my old username”. I was confused and asked how he knew that, and he just said “that is your name tho.”
Anyways I receive a spam of emails saying to confirm a login request from an unusual location which I ignored, but he started saying “dude, just accept that please. Let me in. I need your account”
I said no and thought he was trolling me with a fake email with hostile links bc anyone can find an email if they look hard enough. But he then proceeded to type my password into his text chat and display it over and over again to the world. Telling me to just accept the login.
After ignoring him for a second he then said he was going to try my password on multiple other sites etc (which is useless in my case but a threat nonetheless)
I sent a report in but due to them refusing to update me I’m curious if anyone else has had a similar experience. Or if there are ways to hide your email from others ect.
