Over the past year or so I have been getting spam friend requested from bot accounts.
The accounts always have names such as “[Removed]”, “[Removed]”, “[Removed]” followed by a few numbers. The bios of these accounts also always contain links that I must assume contain NSFW loli content, although I have never clicked the links to actually verify this claim.
I’m just curious if this is a widespread issue or if I am being targeted, it’s getting quite old.

Have you been reporting these to VRChat Trust & Safety? Believe it or not, they can be very effective at tracking and rooting out bad behavior, so if you haven’t already, I strongly recommend it.
Also, you may want to delete the account link, as that might cause issues with moderation. You should be fine reporting it directly to VRChat though.
I have and they delete that individual account but then 4 more show up. There is no quick way to report accounts and making constant support requests is tiring.
I mention everytime that there are many accounts with very similar usernames, they are not hard to find. I’m posting here as a way to hopefully bring more attention to the issue because reporting the accounts clearly isn’t enough.
As for being moderated for the account link, the account is hosted on their own site. If i get in trouble for sharing a link to content that they are fostering then there is a much larger issue here.
I can’t say for sure that you’re being targeted, but this is the only time I’ve ever heard of this happening on VRC. Are you getting these requests in specific instances or worlds, or is it even happening while you’re offline?
