Hi, I’m new to ask.vrchat, anyway for a while now I was wanting to do a musical performance on vrchat like how some roblox users do it, I felt like it would be fun to attempt it, but I want to know if it would be a good idea in the first place and how I could do it.

I know of at least one group that does this already. ReclaimedVR does a performance most Friday nights/Saturday mornings (depending on your time zone). There are probably more, so it definitely feasible.
I don’t know how Roblox does it, but I would imagine it’s similar.

yeah for sure, lot’s of cool musical experiences exists. Graphical ones, imersive ones, or more classical ones. If you have a new idea, find a few friends and Just DO it !
There are a lot of groups that do live performing! VRelium is a pretty good one, and there are a bunchloads of open mic groups that are great for getting started in.

I made a pretty advanced step sequencer made for performing as a band. Its called the ‘Cuetar MK1’.
Its a world but I’m going to release the asset somewhere eventually. Along with show an actual tutorial because its pretty feature packed for what it is.
