So, a private group I’m apart of is having trouble with a report-spammy troll currently. They seem intent on destroying everything about what our group is. I would report ‘em, but I’m told that apparently if they reported me first, and then I report them later down the line, that can be considered as “counter reporting”, which could potentially be a bannable offense nowadays.
I very much want to do something report-related about this guy in order to help, but, be as honest as you possibly can, am I screwed if I tried to do that?
Harassment is harassment regardless of anything else.
You definitely want to pay attention to what reason you’re using to report someone. I wouldn’t worry about counter reporting, just don’t do exactly what they’re doing.
