I attempted to join some friends through desktop after not playing for some time. I keep VRC up to date for this reason, however when I launched it asked me to login. That has been normal so I do so, afterwards I enter my home world and send an invite to my friend. They don’t see the notification at all even with 2 attempts. After they sent me an invite and I do receive it I join their world. All was working so far. Then We go to join up with the rest of the group only for me to lose access to all my saved and uploaded avatars. From here I attempt to leave that world to look for an avatar switch just so I am able to enjoy the night. I can’t open worlds from my menu. From here I shut down the game from settings and validate my game files to make sure I am on the right version. After that I am prompted to login again. Don’t find it weird I just reset the cache. Log in and immediately spawn in “Error World” confused I open my menu and hit go home only for it to take me to the VRC hub world. Again I try to use “Go Home” hoping it takes me to the right place. I do spawn in the right world, but still can’t change or view my avatars. I again shut down the game from settings. Lunched again to see if restating would help only to be welcomed by the login screen again. What could this be? If someone has any idea please help.
Go into the user interface.
In general UI settings
You can disable the display of the Go! button during loading.
Then it won’t come out.
It’s in Korean, but… please understand.
Generally when this kind of stuff happens its related to ipv6 but not always. Likely best to check out this page on the wiki to narrow down the possibilities: Guides:Connection issues - VRChat Wiki
How to fix avatar disappearance
Convenience and safety come into play.
It frees up personal space for convenience.
Hope it works out well :)
What does that link mean?
It’s a link to the VRChat wiki, a project officially supported by VRChat that’s mostly run by volunteers such as myself.
There’s no Korean translation yet but there’s nothing stopping people from making one.
