I am currently on a monthly subscription to VRChat Plus and would like to change my plan to an annual subscription because VRChat Plus is having a Black Friday.
However, I can only renew my monthly subscription through Manage Subscriptions on Steam. How can I renew my subscription from a monthly plan to an annual plan?

We can subscribe vrchat plus of yearly with additional 3 months now.

Having the same issue- worried that I might miss my shot at the discount, since it seems like Steam waits until the current subscription-time is run out.
I have sent a support request to VRChat with the above content. Iāll show it when I get a response from VRChat.
I have not yet received a reply to my support request from VRChat. I will let you know if there is any new news.
This is silly, because I was on monthly, I canāt take part of the offer. My subscription expires on the 27th next month. I canāt change it to yearlyā¦
i've raised the issue with Tupper, and was given a blanket answer.
same answer i have gotten from the other "user support" trolls on the discord.
you canāt convert your monthly to a yearly and take advantage of the offer.
you would have to cancel your subscribtion, wait for it to expire, then get a yearly subscribtion and hope the dates lines-up.
seems to me they dropped the ball on this one, or they donāt care about people in this situation (monthly subs), or whatever.
not gonna cry wolf but iām gonna say things as they are from our perspective. i would have hoped they will see the issue and offer a solution in their own dashboard so everyone can take advantage of said deal, this is what most legit businesses do. (some have been even nicer and offered custom solutions that is āout of normal procedureā so to make sure the user who were gonna miss out, would NOT miss out on the deal.)
hereās the discord chats, make of it what you want. my takeaway from it is, you shouldnāt let community address issues with paying customer, the answers were not really professionnal even if they were true. note: they are not employees of vrchat.

Iām coming with the same problem.
For now I cancelled my monthly subscriptions.
itās unclear for me when Iāll rejoin to the VRChat+

Yea wth, why canāt I choose and get some yearly discount instead of my monthly, I just bought to try and now theres a god danm discount I cannot use?
I sent VRChat customer support a ticket asking about the issue and got this as a reply. So it looks like itās still possible; you just need to send customer support a ticket.

It is not currently possible to upgrade your subscription from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription. However, as a one-time exception for this particular sale, we are willing to manually grant you the extra months if you provide us with proof of purchase (a screenshot of your purchase receipt should suffice) of a VRChat+ Yearly subscription within a week after your current monthly subscription period expires.

If you would like an annual subscription, please cancel your current monthly subscription, wait for it to expire, sign up for an annual plan, and then contact VRChat.
