My VRC+ subscription is still not active after 20+ days and paying it two times, support is not responding, please help

I have contacted support multiple times about this ever since around 6/12/2025 (MM/DD/YYYY), I’ve received replies asking for more information, provided the requested information and I still got no fix

As one might expect I would really like to avoid escalating this to Steam or my bank, I would really like to avoid any scorched earth approach but I still don’t have any response or compensation for all the time I have had no VRC+ even though I paid two times already for it, I didn’t cancel thinking this would be fixed before that or that maybe it would get fixed by waiting for the next payment period to update my VRC+ status and it would just turn into a “get compensation” request but it didn’t, I received no instructions on this by support either way

I still have no solution, I’m really running out of options and I think I have waited for long enough, please somebody, help…

You made a support ticket, supplied the correct information, and haven’t heard back?

They usually reply within a week, unless it is vacation season or they are under a heavy workload.

How have you checked if they have replied?
Are you expecting an email only?
Or uave you checked the case’s status on the website?

I have made 3 different support tickets at this point using that same form you linked, as I only got a reply after creating a ticket, not after replying to one, the AI there suggested the same

I initially replied via email, then I found out I could log into help.vrchat.com, this is how I found out 1 support team reply didn’t arrive on my email inbox for some reason, last reply was 11 days ago saying they were looking into it

9 days ago I found out I could check open tickets on the page, from this point on I didn’t create new tickets, this is when I found the support team reply that didn’t arrive at my email and I replied thanking them for the reply and providing an update saying I was charged again (I provided transaction id and a screenshot of it) but VRC+ was still inactive, no replies on their side as of yet
5 days ago I made another reply on the website to the same ticket, asking for compensation for the previous month for the time I didn’t get VRC+ after paying for it and to please re-activate my VRC+ subscription, no replies on their side

Definitely don’t make multiple tickets, that might just bump you to the back of the line. They likely do the support tickets in order, and if you make a new ticket it is at the back of the queue.

They are looking into it, then just wait.

If they can find in their system that you paid for something, and definitely didn’t receive it, then of course they will compensate you. But until they have actually found out that is the case, demands of compensation will just complicate the case and mean they need to be even more careful in communicating with you.

If you start demanding compensation before they found the issue, they might be reluctant to reply before they have word from higher-up about it.

Basically, just wait. If they haven’t replied in another week, make a reply asking for confirmation that they are still looking into it.

Yeah, that makes sense… yet, it’s so unfair

I had no clue they would work like that, damn

  • The system glitched and created a new ticket when I just wanted to answer the already existing one
  • It didn’t deliver the support team response to my email
  • Nobody told me I could check tickets on the page in a 100% glitch-less way (or that the email thing was so glitchy, tbh, I would remove the option to answer emails and lead the user to the website to check responses)
  • The AI on the form even suggested I created a new ticket to escalate the issue
  • When I finally found a response they didn’t mention anything but “we’re looking into it”, no ETA and no mentions of compensation for all lost time

Most of the things that have delayed this are on their end or due to my lack of experience with support (which, should I need experience with support to be able to navigate this?) I still have no solution after all this waiting even though the bug didn’t happen due to any ill-intentions…

Thanks a lot for the data since I feel like I’ve been talking to a wall all this time and no matter what I do I get nothing, 0 information from their end, I just want my VRC+…

I’m not even sure if filing a cashback would make the VRC team take my account hostage or restrict me in some way, I don’t want to build bad blood or give myself more trouble but I don’t want to spend another month waiting and paying in hopes that this may someday be fixed, cancelling my subscription will probably make things even more complicated considering that’s what started the issue, so I guess I’ll wait until the last day of the payment period to cancel… this is so much unnecessary trouble and guesswork when they could’ve just manually flipped a freaking boolean on my account while they look into it, they validated my transaction with the transaction id after all…

Just… at least thanks a lot for the information, I have more of an idea as to where I’m standing now, not even mad, just frustrated and confused…
