I just got vrchat plus and I’ve been wanting to upload a picture of myself as my icon as I’ve seen other people do but vrchat only allows me to take pictures in game.
You’d have to login to the VRChat website and upload the icon there.

To further clarify what I said a year ago…
Go to this website https://vrchat.com and login if you aren’t already, then go to Gallery, and finally upload icon.
Make sure you follow the instructions on the upload icon page, because there’s certain conditions that prevent upload and it clearly tells you what those are on that page.

I am on pc and it doesnt work
i get the picture i want and it all says it’s able to use and i press confirm and it doesn’t save or anything

the icon must be a png or jpeg, less than 10MB, larger than 64x64 pixels, and smaller than 2048x2048 pixels.
if something doesn’t work try a different image to see if the image is the problem.
