Recently I ran into some trouble with my 2-Factor Authentication and support asked me what my username was (Not my display name) They told me it was the first ever display name I had when I created my account but to be honest, I don’t know what it was because of how long ago I made this account. I’ve looked everywhere to try and find my username but I simply can’t find it.
do emails from vrchat use the username or the display name?
They might intentionally be asking for information that the website wont just tell you.
Emails from support regarding 2-FA don’t use either my display name or my username. Normal emails from VRChat use my current display name and my account ID
