❗ Help Needed: Project Created but No Package Added – Repository URL Error in VCC

I’ve been following the official VRChat documentation to set up a new project using the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC). I successfully downloaded and installed VCC, and then created a new project through it.

However, after the project was created, no packages were added—it’s just an empty Unity project.

I attempted to manually add a package repository using this URL:
https://packages.werthut.com

But I received this error:

“Failed to load repository data from https://packages.werthut.com. The URL is invalid or does not contain a valid repository listing.”

What I’ve Done So Far:
Followed the VRChat documentation from the beginning
Installed VCC and created a new project
Tried adding the above repository URL manually
Verified the URL in a browser (no valid package listing appears)
My Setup Details:
Unity version: 2022.3.22f1
VCC version: 2.4.2

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a correct repository URL I should be using, or a step I might have missed in the VCC setup?

When you make a new project, are you certain that it’s completely empty or does it at least have the VRChat SDK in packages? Aside from the VRChat SDK, a new project is supposed to be empty, after all.

As for this https://packages.werthut.com that does not appear to be a valid site. Even just https://werthut.com isn’t either and even searching ‘werthut’ doesn’t seem to turn up anything related to VRChat. Where did you get that link from? What package are you trying to install?
