With the recent update introducing Indonesian as a supported language in VRChat, I can’t help but wonder why Greek is still being overlooked. Greek is a well-established language with a long history and a community of speakers who would undoubtedly appreciate seeing their language represented on the platform. I brought this topic up in a discussion some time ago, and I believe it’s worth revisiting. What exactly would it take for Greek to be added to VRChat’s list of supported languages? Is there a specific requirement that needs to be met, or a way for the Greek-speaking community to demonstrate its demand? I’m not trying to diminish the importance of adding other languages. Quite the opposite — I believe making VRChat accessible to more language communities is a positive step forward. However, it would be encouraging to see Greek receive the same consideration. If other languages are being added, why can’t Greek be one of them, too?
I tried searching VRChat Feedback feature requests for “Greek”, but I could not find any.
