Expressions/Toggles don't show up in VRChat but they do in Gesture Manager

I’ve had this issue for months now. Whenever I build my avatar and try it in VRChat it doesn’t display any of the toggles that I add in Unity. The strange part is that it works completely fine in Unity when I use Gesture Manager.

I don’t get any errors when I offline test or upload the avi. I’ve tried making new projects, using packages such as VRCFury, scouring the internet in search for forum posts and answers to no avail.

Based on what I just tested, make sure your avatar descriptor is in the Game Object at the highest point in the hierarchy, like this, and that’s where the main object is, like that’s where animations go n such

After even further investigation, one cause is due to your avatar not having an avatar! This is what I’ve concluded personally because this is what seems to fix it for me.
