Error message when trying to open project using creator companion

Im trying to set up using creator companion. every time i try to open a pronect i get this error:

Could not find Unity Package Manager local server application at [C:/Program Files/Unity/Hub/Editor/2022.3.22f1/Editor/Data/Resources/PackageManager/Server/UnityPackageManager.exe]. Missing files could be the result of an antivirus action or a corrupt Unity installation.

Click on Retry to relaunch Unity and reopen your project.

Click on Diagnose to launch the Unity Package Manager Diagnostics tool.’

Clicking diagnose gives me nothing. I have tried uninstall and reinstall and disabling windows defender. seems to make no difference. HELP

Having the same problem. Been looking for fixes for a while now with no luck.

Good news! After a day wasted of following pointless tutorials I found a quick and brutal solution. COMPLETELY shut off antivirus and firewalls, install it from the download, run VCC to be sure it works, and then turn on antivirus and firewalls and do a precautionary scan. do put UnityPackageManager.exe in your exceptions in the antivirus. Worked for me! Good luck!
