Im a european that plays vrchat a good bit i wanted to ask here since people probably know more than me if vrchat would leave the eu or be banned in the eu due to the new eu kids act and chat Control 2.0 laws or if it would just Change itself and comply i apologise if this is a dumbo question i been stressing about this for a whole week ty on advance
We already have the 18+ verification though , would an extra step of verification make a difference?
Not going to lie, there is definitly a risk that the company gets pressured for that. I don’t think that’s going to be the case as Primalfrom12 says as we already have the 18+ age verification.
But if you questionning is about vrchat being banned from the EU because of this, i believe that’s a risk near zero in my opinion. Too big to fail
i would also like to point out that games are not getting deleted , they are just getting more steps for age verification , i have never heard the eu kids act to delete or ban games except if they are that excessive in violence
