Last night was the third time I’ve had something quite panic-inducing happen while running my group instance in Midnight Bar. Let me just give you my experience.
One moment everything is normal; The next, ALL audio is gone. My movement input becomes ignored, I’m locked in place (basically immobilised), but my tracking still works; my wheel with options, tools and expressions is still able to be opened, but going to expressions only shows “Quick actions”. I can still open the launchpad, and attempting to respawn gives the error “No valid respawn points. Would you like to rejoin the world?” This happened in all three occurrences.
I can confirm that the first time, I was not the only person in my instance that had this happen right when it happened to me. The second time was a little different; my instance got closed by… Me? Which I didn’t do, and my game crashed right after.
This is something that has happened to another group, from what I’ve been told. It’s been theorised that this might be caused by client users. Has anyone else experienced this?
