I’ve been dealing with this issue for quite some time. Sometimes it comes back, and then it suddenly disappears for no apparent reason. In fact, the solutions I suggested here turned out to be more of a placebo: although they seemed to work when applied, they didn’t prevent the problem from returning.
However, one thing is certain: music that does not come from YouTube, but from any other source, never causes any issues. In short, I believe the problem is related to YouTube changing something on their end, which triggers this behavior.
I suspected this could be an IPv6-related issue, as there are other reports online describing similar behavior. This problem may have occurred in the past, but I’m not sure if it is still relevant or reproducible today.
I also read something about YouTube ads, so I considered the possibility that they might be causing playback issues, but there’s no certainty about that.
I’m also having the same problem now. My VRChat was fine and dandy a few days ago until one day, AVPro starts acting up. Using a Unity player or anything else works just fine though, but specifically using a YouTube link on an AVPro video won’t make it play now all of a sudden and I still don’t know how to fix it and it’s frustrating me so much.
This is when I’m using a video that’s not YouTube on an AVPro and it works like normal, I can only put YouTube links that’s not on an AVPro and it’ll also work as intended.
Just tested to see if video players still run fine on my android and it’s also experiencing the same problem of not being to load in YouTube videos that are using AVPro. Even turned off the WiFi and used Mobile Data as well and it still wouldn’t load. I don’t know what else could be the cause of this problem at this point…
