Add a cheaper VRC+

Hello! As you know, VRChat is a free game, and to support the developers, you can buy VRC+ and enjoy plenty of new customization options and features.

However, for some people (myself included), the current VRC+ is a bit pricey.

If I want to support the developers without spending too much on VRChat, a second, more affordable VRC+ option (similar to Discord’s Nitro Basic and regular Nitro) would be fantastic.

Here’s an example :

VRC+ : 9,99 per month
-300 fav avatar
-custom emoji
-sticker
-nameplate icons
-paralax menu backdrop
-photo invite
-more trust
-possibility to create group

VRC Access : 3,99 per month
-150 fav avatar
-custom emoji
-sticker
-more trust
-possibility to create group

(It’s just a suggestion of what the cheaper option could be; I haven’t included all the features, only those listed on the VRC+ presentation page on the VRChat website.)

The cheaper VRC+ would be a win-win for both developers and players! More players will be able to purchase VRC+, which means more revenue for the developers, and players get access to great features without spending too much money !

Note : The goal is NOT to replace the current VRC+ but to add a more affordable option for those who can’t afford the existing VRC+.

I think the cheaper tier proposed removes justification for going to the higher tier for many users.

I would suggest instead for the lower tier to offer:

  • Profile icon (a different one from VRC+).
  • 10 Increased avatar slots.
  • 1 icon.
  • 1 photo.
  • 1 print.
  • 1 sticker.
  • 1 emoji.
  • UI decorations.
  • VRCat on quick menu.
  • Allow people to gift it just like VRC+ can be gifted.

This would meet the requirement to support the developers without spending too much on VRC and also give the player a taste of features to encourage them to potentially upgrade.
