Hello, I am sorry if this question has been asked many times before. I have looked & I cannot find the answer that I am looking for.
I have a VrChat Meta account with subscription. I created a new PC VrChat account using a diffrent email address. After merging my VrChat Meta account with the new PC VrChat account none of my friends, groups, avatars, subscription & other stuff crossed over.
I contacted VrChat support & they replied by saying they cannot be merged due to being 2 seperate accounts. They say they cannot be merged into a single VrChat account as each account is associated with a diffrent email address & password.
If this is the case then why would the merge be allowed? I would have thought there would be some warning to let me know I am trying to merge into a diffrent email account or something in place so that it wouldn’t allow it. But it did & now I do not know how to fix it.
Any guidance, help would be very much appreciated.

I would then see to take screenshots or use some kind of tool to export your friends list or world favorite list and re import that into your main account. Nothing else more to do here.
so for vrchat accounts there are two types, full accounts where you give vrchat an email address and a password. with this one you signed up for an account at vrchats website and supplied a username
platform accounts is the other type, where you just sign in with like Steam, Meta, and I guess now Discord. for these you dont have control over the username, but the usual giveaway is that the username ends with the last four digits of the GUID. Like “Tupper D269” as an example.
You can link platform accounts to a full vrchat account. basically they try and merge stuffs, but the main result is that the platform account turns into a pointer towards the full account.
i think your best bet is to figure out the difference between the platform accounts (right side) and full vrchat accounts (left side), and maybe delete the new VRChat account. then you should be able to link the Meta account with your first full VRChat account.
