My worlds have rideable horses: the player sits in a VRC Station that is moved by an Udon script as the horse walks and runs. Until recently this worked fine. Now, the longer the horse travels, the further BEHIND the horse the seated player appears. At the moment of sitting the position is normal; the offset grows with the distance travelled. My friends see the same thing when they ride.
What makes me think this is on VRChat’s side and not in my worlds:
- It happens in several of my own worlds that I have not modified since they worked correctly.
- It also happens in another creator’s world with rideable horses that was working well before.
- The station setup is simple: VRC Station, Seated checked, Player Mobility set to Immobilize For Vehicle, and a Station Enter Player Location transform.
This looks like the same behaviour described in this report (seated avatar drifting out of position while the station moves away from its starting point), so I’m adding horses as another affected case.
PC (desktop and VR). Happy to provide a world link or test it with the team if that helps.
Thanks!
