Please help Video Player Error

For several days now video players havent been working for me and I’ve tried all the “solutions”, I’ve tried adding yt-dlp.exe to the exclusions, I’ve tried updating my graphics, I’ve tried turning off vsync, I’ve tried verifying the files of vrc and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I’ve tried rebooting my router, and restarting my computer, I’ve even turned off my firewall and that wasnt the problem and I looked at my Alt account and it was broken on there too, and before you ask I have untrusted URLs on all the time

Look at the logs maybe see what’s up. If the problems are with YouTube videos then the fix may require waiting for yt-dlp to figure out the next move.

The only thing the logs say is for the error “Loading failed, File not found, Codec not supported, video resolution too high or insufficient system resources”

Oh darn, was hoping the logs would have something else before that. That particular error is where it’s told windows media foundation to play something and as you know, it didn’t work.

It will be alright we all just need to be patient.

Found an actual solution dunno if it will stick I cleared my vrc cache (Dunno if it contributed) and deleted the yt-dlp.exe please note it worked for me

Good, I’m glad you found one thank you for notifying me, I’ll make sure If I see anyone else with this issue I will make sure I state for them to possibly clear their cache.
