unfortunately a lot of the buttons and options didn’t exist in any of the older versions of the menus and it would be very difficult to keep the older menu designs and add the new features. it would also be difficult to support two or more different UIs at the same time.
you can try to suggest it to vrchat on the vrchat feedback site
but they have already said they don’t want to do it.
