Movement not working with meta quest 2 handtracking

It doesnt show the blue dot when i hold my middle finger and thumb together no matter how long i do it. it will let me jump and open the menu but i cant turn or move

I dont know If I messed something with virtual desktop and the game

I thought the hand tracking only worked on standalone. I might need to investigate my virtual desktop settings.
